VVTs
VVTs (All-Russian Exhibition Centre, former VDNKh) was established in 1937, and containing of more than 80 pavillions each representing one aspect of the great economic, industrial and technical might of communism, the Exhibition of Economic Achievements functioned as such until the 1980s. Today, miniature trains ferry shoppers around this gigantic complex.
The thousand-sheet beautiful fountain "Stone Flower" on the All-Russia Exhibition Center has no analogues in the garden-and-park complexes of the country.
Behind the fountain you can see the Ukraine pavilion which is one of the most beautiful buildings on the VVTs . The facade made of alabaster panels is decorated by golden spikes. Open-worked crown with a spire, which was "interwoven" of flowers, herbs, and spikes, rose over the building, sparkling with gold and increasing the height of the building to 42 meters.
