Moscow By Night
city is beautiful at night. During the tour you will see the famous places, buildings and streets. The illuminated architecture of the buildings are gourgeous when starting dark. All my clinets had only the BEST impressions from this tour and loved Moscow!
VVTs (All-Russian Exhibition Centre, former VDNKh) was established in 1937, and containing of more than 80 pavillions each representing one aspect of the great economic, industrial and technical might of communism, the Exhibition of Economic Achievements functioned as such until the 1980s.
At the second half of Dec, it is very short day light in Moscow (the shortest day light is on 22nd on December) and starting dark very early. When started dark and they turned on all illumination of the buildings and fountains on this echibition I was really impressed how different looks architecture at night. I found some surface to put my camera and slow down vibration to get more clear picture...
On the left side: the main fountain of VVTs. It has gilded statues of maidens in the national costumes of all Soviet republics demurely encircle a golden wheat sheaf.
On the right side: the main pavilion of this Exhibition Center. It was built under the project of architects Yu.V. Schuko and E.V. Stoliarov in 1954. The House of Russia's Nations has a powerful colonnade, high-raised six-meter sculptural group, numerous bas-reliefs, 35-m broach spire crowned with the golden star.
