Client: Rupert, Alexandra, Victor and Jana Dworak
From: Vienna, Austria
Trip: Travel, 2.5 days in Moscow
Tour: The Red Square
Where: In front of St. Basil's cathedral
Date: May 4th, 2008

I was pleased to provide my services to this cheerful family from Austria for 2,5 days at the beginning of May. Alexandra and Rupert contacted with me about 3 weeks prior to their visit and asked me to come up with an interesting itinerary for them and their children Victor (13) and Jana (9) for their short stay in Moscow during the past spring holidays. It was very nice to work with them. They were happy to expirience Moscow, and they were very sociable and friendly. Even though Jana's English was not so good, she is learning very fast. And her mother translated my explanations about historical sites. Alexandra, who first requested my services at the beginning of April, is a graphic designer and spends much of her time at her home to keep an eye on her kids. But with the amazing new technologies of the 21st century like computers, Internet and mobile telecomms, she makes most of her job at home, which uses as her office too (by the way, my situation is the same - my home is my office :-)).

According their interests and my suggestions we were able to visit:

During the first 2 full days: the Red Square; Alexander Gardens; Moscow Metro; Izmailovo crafts market (twice, they liked the place and wanted to buy more Russian souvenirs); Old Arbat street; Moscow Kremlin grounds, cathedrals and Armory Chamber museum; fascinating ceremony of Guard Mounting in the Cathedral's Square; museum of Russian bells; ballet "Swan Lake" in Bolshoi Theater; Moscow by night tour.

On the last day we were very tired and we had only several hours for sightseeing before their flight back to Vienna, so we decided to take a boat (river cruise) from Kievsky railway station to the Moscow Kremlin and take some pictures near St. Basil's for our memories. This picture I took was several hours before their departure from Moscow.

The second half of this day was not lucky (or positive) for me or for my clients, because of an unexpected case which happened later. I posted this qiute long but intricate story in my hot news and you can read in 3 parts:

1. "A case with wrong parking (Part I)".
2. "A case with wrong parking (Part II)".
3. "A case with wrong parking (Part III)".

With BEST Regards,
Arthur Lookyanov
